October 2008 Affiliated members should have received their first issue of the England Netball magazine (October 2008). Recently affiliated members may have to wait a little longer for their copy. Included with the magazine is an additional information sheet & this year's affiliation card is attached to this. The card must be carried with you, as proof of your affiliation, when taking part in any competition (local leagues, regional & national events). The card has the Club ID number & your Personal ID number on it. Please look after your card. If lost there is an additional cost to replace it. Please let us know if you do NOT receive your copy of the magazine. This is a quarterly publication & subsequent issues are sent out in February, April & August. Senior, 23rd October 2008 We are delighted to let everyone know that Gill Barradell one of our junior & senior coaches has been awarded the England Netball Long Service Award for her commitment and extensive work in this sport as a player, umpire & coach. This information was included in the August issue of the magazine. A fantastic achievement Gill and well deserved for all that you have done in netball so far & continue to do. More good news about Nicola Caunt a member of Cliftonettes for the past 3 years. Nicola has been selected into the England Netball Talent 2 (U19). This is a major achievement along her route towards full international honours. Nicola has progressed along the Excel Pathway from school, club, county representation, Regional Talent, Loughborough Lightning Development squad, EN Talent 1 (U17) & now Talent 2. This has required dedication, hard work, commitment & a positive attitude as well as her outstanding playing ability. We wish Nicola every success and will follow her progress through the EN website, the magazine & hopefully the media. Well Done Nicola!!
