In November 2007 Lincoln Imps B were deducted 1 point for playing an unregistered player. They should have been deducted 5 points.

The results table has now been amended so Lincoln Imps have finished on 29 points 1 less than Cliftonettes.

Therefore Cliftonettes do not have to attend the Regional Qualifying Tournament on the 8th June since they have secured their place in Division 2 of the Regional League for 2008- 2009.

The aim is to improve on this season's results & gain a HIGHER position in Division 2. In the top two places would be great!!

Final position 5th out of 7 in Division 2 resulting in automatic entry into Division 2 of the Regional League 2008- 2009.

 

Well done to the U16s & U15s who played in this league on gaining 3rd place out of 5 in Division 2.

The last match of the season against Charnwood Sapphires on Sunday 30th March was the deciding fixture regarding the maintaining of our place in Division 2 of the East Midlands Regional League.

It was a closely contested game between the teams as whoever won, kept their place in the league.

Unfortunately Cliftonettes lost by 2 goals which means that the club have to enter the Qualifying Tournament again this year to gain a place in next season's Regional League.

TOURNAMENT for U16 & Senior teams on SUNDAY 1st JUNE 2008 at Woodlands Community School, Allestree, Derby

We have entered a senior & U15 (to play in the U16 section) team in this event. Teams will be organised by the team managers. Details to follow.

The tournaments take place in Horncastle. We organise a bus to take the teams to the venue. We have entered 2 U11 teams (possibly 3 U11 teams) & 2 U12 teams attending on the 11th. May. An U14 + U13 team and an U16 team on the 18th. May.
