September 2007 Cliftonettes Netball Club has been awarded the BRONZE CAPS Accreditation- this is England Netball's measure of a quality club. The process of collating the required evidence, the attendance by officials on workshops and training events has taken some considerable time and effort. The club is now recognised as a quality standard accredited club by schools, local authorities, County Sport Partnerships, other clubs, England Netball and Sport England. The club has appropriately accredited coaches, officials & volunteers; robust structures for development and club members are in a quality environment. The outcomes/ benefits from CAPS accreditation are very positive such as access to certain competitions and funding for example. Many thanks to all those officials who helped in the process of gaining this award.

OCTOBER 10.00am- 11.30am RLC or on THURSDAY 11th. OCTOBER 7.00pm- 8.30pm RLC. All qualified club umpires are REQUIRED to attend to be eligible to officiate in the Notts. Netball Association junior & senior leagues. Could all club umpires please select which day is most convenient & inform the Senior Secretary of your availability. Thank you. Senior, 21st September 2007 OUR JUNIOR SECTION MEMBERSHIP for the U11 age group is open to players who are in school Years 5 & 6 and are therefore aged 9 & over. We also have U12 (school year 7), U13 (school year 8) & U14 (school year 9) age groups in the junior section. Anyone interested in joining the junior club and is not yet of the qualifying age please contact the Junior Secretary (details on the Committee Members page) to register their name on the waiting list. Thank you. Junior, 21st September 2007 The Junior training session for U11, U12, U13 & U14 age groups at 6.00pm will not take place on Monday 10th. September since the netball courts are being used for a senior tournament from 6.00pm. Training for these age groups resumes as usual on Monday 17th. September at 6.00pm Affiliation packages were distributed to those members who attended training on Monday 3rd. September. We will also distribute packages on Monday 17th. September to anyone who did not attend this week.
The later session at 7.30pm for the U15s will also not take place since the seniors, U16 & U19s are involved in the tournament. Training for these age groups resumes as usual on Monday 17th. Saturday Arrival Time: 9.00am Start Time: 10.00am Finish Time: 5.30pm approx. Sunday Arrival Time: 9.00a. Start Time: 9.30am Finish Time: 4.30 approx.
The U11 team has been withdrawn due to unavailability of players to field a team. The U12 team with some U11 players, the U13/ U14 combined team & two U15 teams are taking part. The playing schedule & information sheet can be viewed or downloaded from the Downloads Page on the website.
Junior, 4th September 2007 The 2007- 2008 season starts with training on MONDAY 3rd. SEPTEMBER at Rushcliffe L.C. 6.00- 7.30pm junior session (U11, U12, U13, U14 age groups) & 7.30 - 9.00pm senior session (U15, U16, U19 & senior age groups). First Junior competition is the Nottingham City Junior Invitation Tournament on Saturday 8th. & Sunday 9th. September at Rushcliffe L.C. for U11, U12, U13, U14 & U15 Club teams.
Senior affiliations were due in July from all U15, U16, U19 & senior players who wish to take part in competition during this season. The affiliation form can be downloaded from the Downloads page and returned, with appropriate fees, to the address at the bottom of the form. Also, for all players (U15, U16, U19 & seniors) in the senior section, the Training Fees Payment Form needs to be completed & returned with payment at the start of the season & the signed Senior Section Code of Conduct. Plus all U19 players (ALL AGE GROUPS UP TO & INCLUDING U19) need to complete & return Parental Consent Forms A & B, Code of Conduct for Players & Code of Conduct for Parents/ Carers at the start of the season. Copies of all these forms will be distributed at training but can also be downloaded from the Downloads page on the website.
Junior affiliations are due in September at the start of the new season. All players will receive an affiliation package at the first training session or the required forms can be downloaded from the Downloads Page on the website:- Junior Affiliation Form, Parental Consent Forms A & B, Junior Section Rules, Code of Conduct for Players, Code of Conduct for Parents/ Carers plus the Administrative Procedures information.
