We are awaiting details from the NGB about the format that these competitions will take and when they are scheduled for. Junior, 31st October 2006 Any junior players in the U11, U12, U13 and U14 age groups who wish to be considered for selection in any of the competitions that the club will be involved in must be affiliated. All coaches have affiliation packages that can be given to those players attending training OR these documents can be downloaded from the document section of the website. It is scheduled to start in January 2007 (possibly sooner). Junior, 31st October 2006 Stapleford Netball Club hold monthly tournaments on a saturday morning at Albany Junior School, Pasture Lane, Stapleford, Nottingham NG9 8HR. START: 9.30 FINISH: 11.30 approx. We have been invited to take part in these events. 25th. November 2006 13th. January 2007 10th. February 2007 10th. March 2007 21st. April 2007 26th. May 2007 23rd. June 2007 We will be selecting players in these age groups to take part in the tournaments and will inform them of the selection at training. Junior, 31st October 2006 Sunday 12th. November 2006 fixture for U11, U12, U13 & U14 squads vs. Horncastle Junior Netball Club in Horncastle, Lincs. Selected players will be given an information sheet with specific details for this event. Junior, 29th October 2006 The new Level 1 Assistant Coach qualification is being launched by England Netball. The new qualifications will set the standards to help ensure that we are delivering the best available player- centred coaching possible. DATES: 4th., 5th. and 19th. November 2006 VENUE: Nottingham Trent University, Clifton Campus Sports Hall, Clifton Nottingham NG11 8NS TIMES: 9am- 6pm on all 3 days ENTRY REQUIREMENT: 16 years of age or over, have sound knowledge and experience of the netball game and an understanding of the rules. COST: £170 (this will be covered by Club funds for those members who wish to attend and are involved with coaching within the club) Courses & Workshops, 28th October 2006 Our First Aid Officer has replenished and renewed all the first aid kits for the squads for this season. She would like to make a request re. some of the first aid items that were used last year. If anyone had to use a triangular bandage (arm sling) from our first aid kit last year could they please return it, now that they no longer need it. These are washable and reuseable items and although not an exhorbitant cost to replace, it would be useful to have any returned so that we do not have to spend funds unnecessarily.
